Keeping schools safe allows children to look forward to engage actively in an encouraging environment that promotes social and creative learning.
When their basic safety needs aren’t met, children are at risk for not feeling comfortable at school and may stop showing up, or they may remain on edge throughout the day.
Thus, promoting school safety creates an open space for HIS students to explore, learn and grow.
The health office at HIS embeds three main functions:
- supports student health and educational success by providing day-to-day health care management for all students,
- provides comprehensive medical services to our students
- conducts awareness campaigns and follow up sessions on health and hygiene related issues.
Day-to-day health care includes medical first aid for daily incidents, follow up on students’ hygiene and watching out the students’ interaction with meals.
Medical services include comprehensive screening by the school pediatric and follow up on medical related issues. In addition, all students are enrolled in health insurance plans.
